What is Urgent Care?
Urgent Care Medicine (UCM) is the provision of Immediate Medical Service offering Outpatient Care for the Treatment of Acute and Chronic Illness and Injury-WHEN THAT ILLNESS OR INJURY IS NOT SEVERE ENOUGH FOR HOSPITAL EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT CARE.
When illness strikes outside of regular office hours, urgent care offers an alternative to waiting for hours in a Hospital Emergency Department.
Highland Medical Urgent Care offers Modern up to date facilities in close proximity to Bowral District Hospital and The Southern Highlands Private Hospital.
We strive to keep the waiting times to the lowest possible under the work load conditions existing at the time. Currently the wait is rarely longer than 10 minutes, but this cannot be garanteed-just strived for?? All children and students are Bulk Billed and Generous Consessions are available for pensioners and Health Care card Holders.
