What is Client Centered Care?

Client Centered HealthCare is when the health care system is designed and healthcare is delivered in an appropriate way so that it can answer the needs of clients and not necessarily the needs of the provider. Healthcare is delivered to Clients when and where they need it based on the Client's current medical or social needs.

Highland Medical Services strives to provide Client Centered Care wherever possible to the people of the Southern Highlands. All clients are seen as close to their appointment time as possible, and all urgent and emergency cases are triaged immediately upon arrival. Good quality care does NOT need to be Tardy.

As we grow we hope to eventually provide Fully Integrated Client Centered Care(FICCC).

We have rebuilt our facility to include a dedicated Urgent Care Triage Ward and an Independent Pathology Provider-7 Days!!

Coming Soon-"Home Hospital"

During 2010 and into the future we will be attempting to develop a General Practice Based Home Hospital Concept. This is intended as a method of keeping people in their homes for treatment of conditions which previously have required expensive hospital care. This will be a new concept for Private General Practice and will evolve as time progresses. We will let you know details as this evolution takes place.
